Do you have questions about your child’s car seat?

  • Is your child’s car seat safe and properly positioned in the vehicle?
  • Are you placing your child in a car seat that fits properly for his or her size?
  • When is it safe to transition my child to a booster seat?
  • What has changed in Washington State car seat law?

Lifeline Ambulance Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on Pybus Plaza performing child car seat safety checks. This even is in partnership with Safe Kids USA and the Wenatchee Police Department’s Child Passenger Safety Technician, Eveline Roy and is funded in part by a grant from the North Central Emergency Care Council

Certified technicians will offer free car seat checks and provide information on proper installation and use of child passenger restraints. They will also provide car seats and belt positioning booster seats to families that need them.

Road injuries are the leading cause of unintentional deaths to children in the United States. When installed and used correctly, child safety seats decrease the risk of fatal injury by 71% among infants, 54% among toddlers and 45% among children ages 4-8.
