Every month, a different local artist is featured in the Pybus Boardroom. On the first Friday of each month, the Pybus Art Committee hosts a viewing as a part of the First Friday Art walk. This month’s featured Artist is Jan Cook Mack. Jan grew up in the United States and Taiwan, and received her fine Arts degree from Bennington College in Vermont. She established herself as a fine artist in New York City before moving to eastern Washington State in 1986. Mack’s paintings arise out of an emotional response to the pursuit of an intimate relationship with the natural world. Mack’s move from Vermont to Washington expanded her pastoral views to include wildscape vistas.
Stop by the Boardroom at the Pybus Market for the First Friday Art Walk or view Jan’s work on select Saturday’s this month from 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
