To celebrate the past forty years and honor all those who have contributed to its success, the Market will offer a very special line-up this Saturday, July 20 from 8 AM to 1 PM. Among the family friendly events are a magician, live folk music, and a raffle of locally made products from market vendors. Kids and adults will love to learn about the honey-making process and find the queen with McGregor’s live beehive, or they can visit play in the dirt with a live composting demonstration from Yaksum Canyon Truck Farm.

“We are celebrating farmers and artisans coming together under one metaphorical tent every Saturday, every summer, for forty years. That is a big feat! But honestly, it is more than that. We are honoring the commitment the Wenatchee community has to support local food, farmers and businesses. Together we make Wenatchee stronger. So, this event is for all of us to say thank you and to celebrate food, art, families, community, and summer,” said Deb Stansbery, WVFM Board President.

Local farmers, artisans, winemakers, bakers, and chefs make up the friendly, hard-working vendors of the Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market, open every Saturday from 8am to 1pm in the west parking lot of Pybus Market.

Eat healthy, eat local and support your local growers and producers. For more information about the Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market, please see: http://wenatcheefarmersmarket.com
