Barbara Conrad~ Piano, Vocals
Originally from the Oregon coast, Barbara has been in the Wenatchee Valley area since 1983. She spent a few years traveling as a road musician throughout the states and Canada and has since played in several bands. Some of which include, “Toons”, “Spare Change”, “60 hz” and currently with “PBJ&M”. Barbara has performed in many “Wenatchee Music Theatre” productions and is the accompanist for the “Missoula Childrens Theatre” local annual production. Some of the artists that inspire her include Carol King; Emmylou Harris; James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt. 

She began performing gospel and folk music when she was in Junior High. She composes original material and she has also produced a childrens album entitled “Sing Me A Picture, Paint Me A Song” distributed locally.

Patrick Cutler~ Bass, Vocals
Pat began his musical  career with piano lessons while in the third grade, followed by summer band, in the fith and sixth grade, on the coronet. Pat played drums and other percussion instruments, performing in marching band, jazz ensemble and rock bands through Junior High and High School. Pat has since added bass guitar to his talents. Over the  years he has alternated between bass and drums in a number of traveling and local groups. Some of which include “Overload”, “Satas Pass”, “Lost Alamo Band”, “Shongo Bongo”, “Rock Canyon”, “Fate”, “Spare Change”, “CopaTude”, “No monkey Down”, and “60 hz”.
Along this musical journey, Pat developed a love of harmony, which was the major motivation for forming “PBJ&M”.

 

Randy Johnston~ Guitar, Vocals 

Randy started his musical endeavors in Bend, Oregon while in Junior High. Randy has played in various rock oriented bands, trios and duos through High School, College and beyond. In 1983 he joined the “Barbara Price Band” in Seattle and toured the Pacific Northwest and Canada. He then teamed up with Beverely Grahm and formed the duo “Secrets”.  As well as guitar, Randy also plays piano, bass, banjo, mandolin and flute. Since moving to Wenatchee in 1985, Randy has played with various local bands . Some of which include “Spare Change” and “Red Wolf” He has also played with the “Wenatchee Big Band” and “Old Dogs”.
Randy also volunteers as worship leader and musician in churches around the Wenatchee Valley area.

 

Mike Conrad~ Percussion

Originally from Vancouver, Washington, Mike began percussion lessons at the age of 10. He performed in jazz ensembles and marching bands throughout his school years. After graduating from Central Washington University in 1989, with a BA in Percussion Performance, he moved to the Wenatchee Valley and began building his teaching studio. Mike has performed with various jazz ensembles in North Central Washington, the Wenatchee British Brass Band and Yakima Symphonies. He has also toured with the University of Calgary Wind Ensemble. In addition, he has coached students with the Icicle Creek Youth Symphony, as well as several marching band drum lines. Mike has also judged at Washington and Oregon State solo competitions. 

Mikes musical influences include Max Roach, John Bonham, and Tony Williams.

Mike enjoys teaching. Currently he teaches 40-60 students of all ages in his percussion studio at “Chinook Music” in East Wenatchee, Washington.
