Pybus Public Market Announces 3rd Annual
Taste of Pybus Fundraiser
Pybus Public Market is hosting their 3rd Annual Taste of Pybus fundraising event, Wednesday October 6th from 5:30PM-8:30PM. The evening will offer guests an interactive market experience filled with delicious food, live music, and a showcase of artisan goods. A virtual experience will also be available to those who would like to attend from the comfort of their home.
The evening will begin outdoors on the LocalTel Event Center patio sampling some of the finest from Pybus tenants and the Wenatchee Valley Farmer’s Market. Executive Director, Leslie Freytag commented, “We are excited to share a very special restoration project with our donors, while enjoying a 4-course meal curated by our Pybus restaurants.”
The evening will include live music provided by Darnell Scott, a famed Blues/Soul musician and Jac Tiechner and Steve Sanders of The Well Strung. A few select live auction items will be offered along with a paddle raise with proceeds going towards the Pybus Foundations restoration project of the Westside parking lot.
If interested in attending please visit www.pybusmarket.org/TOP2021 to register for the event. Tickets subject to availability.
Pybus Public Market opened in May 2013 after the restoration of the abandoned Pybus warehouse. Since the opening of Pybus, the Foundation with the support of their donors have renovated the annex building which is now the LocalTel Event Center and Board Room and the Plaza to connect Orondo Street to the Riverfront. And now, Pybus Foundation is focused on the restoration of their westside parking lot that still has the crumbling concrete from E.T Pybus’ 1940’s warehouse floors. Their dream is to create a permanent home for the Wenatchee Valley Farmer’s Market, a more pedestrian safe parking lot, enhance the “front” west side entrance and patios, as well as offer more community space to come together year-round.
