Pybus Pubic Market announced today that it has hired Steve Robinson as its executive director. In that role, Robinson will oversee the overall business operation of Pybus Market, including its tenant relations, marketing and business operations.
"I am very excited to have Robinson as part of the Pybus team. We have some great architects, engineers and contractors, and Steve's addition adds the day-to-day business attention we want to build out this historic community project," said Mike Walker, president of the Pybus Market Charitable Foundation, a non-profit established to develop the Pybus Public Market project. "Robinson has important community relations and business and marketing experience that will help us transition the old Pybus steel warehouse into a sustainable community asset," added Walker.
Robinson was general manager of The Wenatchee World for 13 years and prior to that held various management positions at The News Tribune in Tacoma, WA. He serves on the boards of various community and regional non-profits.
