Jones of Washington

Jones of Washington is a family-owned winery, with estate vineyards located along the Columbia River within two American Viticultural Areas ­— Wahluke Slope and Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley in central Washington State.

In 1997, Quincy farmer Jack Jones entered the world of viticulture by planting a variety of vineyards on the Wahluke Slope. Jones of Washington winery was established in 2001, releasing its first wine, a 2001 Merlot in 2003. 

Over twenty years later, Jones of Washington continues to care for its vineyards like family members, each offering a unique character, resulting in a superlative collection of artisan wines with distinct personalities. We like to think we have something for everyone… dry to sweet, light to heavy, fruit to savory. Our prices are known to win applause, too. It is important to us that Jones of Washington wine can be enjoyed every day… not just sometimes.

Led by winemaker Victor Palencia, Jones of Washington won Winery of the Year in 2012 and Washington State “MVP” (Most Valuable Producer) in 2023. Jones presents over 20 varietals of award-winning wines which are available in our Tasting Rooms in Wenatchee’s Pybus Public Market and in Quincy’s Public Market.
