Pybus Market “Soft” Opening Weekend Set for Saturday and Sunday, May 11 and 12
After over a year of dreaming, planning and construction, Pybus Public Market will open its doors to the public in its inaugural debut (it’s really a soft opening) on Saturday morning, May 11 at 7:30 am. The Wenatchee Valley Farmers Market, located in the west parking lot of Pybus Market, also opens to the public at 8:00 am on Saturday.
Pybus Market will open at 8:00 am on Sunday, May 12 (Mothers Day).
Actual hours of each tenant vary, so be sure to check our web site for specific hours for each business.
The soft opening will allow the public to step back in time, to the late 1940’s when the building was built. The building brings together a part of the Wenatchee valley’s history … and a glimpse of its future.
Most tenants will be open for business on opening weekend. Due to the complexity of the remodel, a few tenants may be open shortly after opening weekend. A grand opening celebration will be held on Saturday, June 22 at 1:00 pm. Opening weekend on May 11-12 includes a number of festive events, including the lighting of the large red neon “Public Market” sign.

4:00 pm to 5:00 pm >>> Mariachi Huenachi performance
Sunday, May 12:
8:00 am >>> Pybus Market opens
8:00 am >>> First 200 mothers to Full Bloom Flowers shop receive a free rose
1:00 pm >>> Officiants from several local churches bless Pybus Public Market
2:00 pm >>> First Annual Pybus Market Mothers Day “Best Advice” Contest winners
2:30 pm to 4:00 pm >>> L Bow the Clown entertains children and adults alike
After this opening weekend, Pybus Market will be open 7 days a week, opening at 7:30 am Monday through Saturday and at 8:00 am on Sunday. Tenant hours will vary.
