In celebration of National Get Outdoors Day, the 1st Annual GET OUT(doors) DAY will be held at Pybus Public Market, showcasing local outdoor recreation and environmental businesses and groups and their efforts to get people outdoors. Presentations will be made on the railcar every half hour, so come for an hour or stay the whole day! There will be booths with activities including cycling and paddling demos, local cultural education, intro to GPS and much! Come savor small bites of seasonal wild mushrooms by Chef Tony Davis and hear tales of mushroom forays from Langdon Cook, author of The Mushroom Hunters and Fat of the Land.

On Saturday, June 21 at 2:00pm, Pybus Market will cut its 1 year old birthday cake. Ok, we hope to cut many, many cakes that day …. because the community is invited to bake a cake for entry in the Pybus Market birthday cake party. Entry rules are below, but in short: (i) fill out the form by clicking on the link below and send it in, and (ii) bake a cake and bring it to Pybus Market on Friday or Saturday, June 20 or 21.
