Events Calendar

This year the WSU Chelan/Douglas Counties Master Gardener Foundation Plant Sale will be selling 28 varieties of tomatoes,13 varieties of peppers (spicy and sweet) along with a selection of other vegetables and herbs all grown by our master gardeners.  A new addition to our sale is a selection of 13 varieties of native plants grown locally by Derby Canyon Natives. Perennials grown in eastern WA and suitable for our area will also be available.

Cash or checks are preferred, however credit cards will be accepted. Proceeds help support educational programs and events presented by master gardeners in our local communities.

“The beauty and diversity of the natural world is the inspiration for my acrylic paintings. Using expressive colors and rich details, I create paintings designed to give the viewer an experience both up close and at a distance. As a graduate of Central Washington University, I began my art career with Alaska Silver and Ivory as a scrimshaw artist. Then, finding it more fun to work larger, I moved from ivory to colored pencil and then to acrylic paint. I love to share with the viewer a new way to see everyday scenes and details that would be ordinarily passed by”.
