Empty Bowls is an international grassroots effort to fight hunger growing across the nation and world. The idea is that potters, artists, and community members work together to create custom hand-crafted bowls, which are then sold or auctioned off at a simple soup and bread dinner for the community. The funds raised go to benefit an organization that feeds people in need, and the guests each take home their bowls as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the world.
