Friday Night Music: Jez Slowe

Growing up in High Wycombe, a commuter town 25 miles west of London, England, Jez Slowe is not your average Yakima musician. 2017 will be his 17th year living in the United States and although he calls Yakima his home and High Wycombe his “hometown,” he feels neither truly British nor American — and neither does his music. Living in both the U.S. and Great Britain for large portions of his life, he feels like he has become “this mid-Atlantic person” because the cultures and lifestyles in these two countries have come together to shape him into the man and musician he is today.
