Friday Night Music: The Skiffs

The Skiffs will perform live for Friday Night Music from 7-9 on July 12, 2019. The Skiffs sound is traditional in spirit, with songs about heart ache, high-heeled momma’s, drinkin’, and other edgy topics. They’ve updated a brand of traditional country to what they call “Skiffabilly”. The Skiff’s music is energetic yet nostalgic with overtones of truthful foot stompin’ innocents. The Skiff’s make new memories from old traditions!
Comprised of longtime lovers and musical mates, The Skiffs tip the boat with classic country and radio rock favorites! Captain of the ship and 30 year veteran musician, producer, and engineer, Darik Peet states” …the skiffs is a portal to love and rebirth!” With guitar and mandolin in hand, Captain Peet sings out the good-time vibes! His first mate, Kountry Kate slaps her upright bass through the seas of time. The Skiffs shared the stage with Bob Wayne, Dusty 45’s, and James Hunicutt to name a few.
