The NCW Woodworkers Guild will display a variety of their projects in the center concourse at Pybus Public Market on January 25th and 26th, 2020.
Admission is free.
The membership includes amateurs and professional furniture and cabinet makers. Represented works will include chairs, a blanket chest, a tool cabinet made from tiger maple and inlaid with various woods, an ebony cribbage board with mother-of-pearl inlay, a bassinet, a special reading lamp, plus other items.
The Guild was started two years ago as a way to promote camaraderie and exchange knowledge by bringing together men and women who share a love for woodworking. This year, guild members will also exhibit small kitchen tables they have made to donate to Serve Wenatchee Valley at the end of the show.
Autumn Doucet, a nationally recognized woodworker, will be demonstrating her carving skills. Please stop by and visit.
“Our members are very excited about the opportunity to show the public the high quality of wood working that is done in our community,” said Steve Voorhies, event organizer. “I think the public will be impressed,” added Voorhies.
