Description: Do you value hospitality? Appreciate a beautiful tablescape? Love anything DIY? Join us in a hands on workshop making Spring-Theme Hand Lettered Placecards and create a set of your own personalized placecards to adorn your next dinner party or Easter table. Participants will create their own water color designs, learn the basics of faux calligraphy and modern script through step-by-step instruction and hands-on practice. Class includes a set of placecards for you to take home and learning tools for you to practice your faux calligraphy techniques at home. Paints, brushes and materials will be provided so just bring yourself and your creative spirit!
Age 14 and older. Space is limited to 25 participants. This is a make-and-take class, so there is a $10 fee to register each participant to cover costs. When you come to class you will receive a $5 Pybus buck coin to spend at Pybus (so your out-of-pocket expense is $5 per person.)
Bio: Established in 2015, Chalk Chic Mama, has been creating unique and personalized signs for special events, local businesses and people’s homes. I’ve been so blessed by sharing in the important moments and dreams of others, contributing to the success of their wedding day or a new business, and putting meaningful art on the walls of a home. One of the most gratifying parts of this work has been meeting new people, getting to know them, and bringing some encouragement or support to their lives through the art.
